Raising Awareness for Vets
Former U.S. Marine and Top Selling Author of “Never Ending Battle After Iraq – A Marines Road to Recovery”
Bryan Carpenter
Facebookers have taken to their pages as of late to show their support for troops with PTSD. They are partaking in the 22 pushup challenge to help raise awareness of veteran suicide. It’s reported that 22 vets commit suicide a day, that’s a staggering number.
While the idea of everyone rallying together to support a much needed cause is amazing, will this 22 pushup challenge make any difference? Is there a better way for us to show our thanks and support to these vets that will help them with their struggle?
Former U.S. Marine Bryan Carpenter uses his book “Never Ending Battle After Iraq – A Marines Road to Recovery” not only as a therapy to himself, but to inspire others that the unbelievable is ALWAYS possible. He is available for interviews and can answer the following questions:
What is PTSD?
What are the signs or symptom associated with PTSD?
How can we help someone suffering with PTSD?
What can we do to help raise awareness about PTSD?
