HEALTH TIPS:

1. Eat as much organic or natural food as possible.

2.Stay away from processed foods.

3.Use sea salt or Himalayan salt exclusively.

4.Take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda twice a day…This will change your Ph to alkaline…No virus can live in an alkaline environment.

5.Stay away from all sugar as virus’s use sugar to replicate…Do not even eat honey…NO fruit juices…Fruit is fine.
6. Drink plenty of good water…Find out if your town puts fluoride in your water or chlorine…They are both neurotoxins..

7.Eat a balanced diet and do not eat a heavy dinner..
8.Drink a glass of Kefir before breakfast every day.

9. DO NOT eat a low fat diet…

10. Smile. A glass of wine… is fine.

MY HOBBIES AND BACKGROUND:

1. My father, Roy Rendell, was a Certified Engineer for the state of Massachusetts. He also was a musician for 60 years… He played with Glen Miller briefly in Boston…He was the president of the Framingham Musicians Union for 25 years and retired in 1983…During that time he was president, the Monticello nightclub in Framingham was the biggest nightclub in the Northeast… Everybody, except Sinatra, played there…He went to Wentworth University and M.I.T. He had offers to play professional baseball with the Detroit Tigers as a pitcher and professional hockey with the Detroit Red wings..

2. My mother, Rita Romasco Rendell, played the piano and sang every day of her life in the house…She was the funniest person I ever met…She was the second best cook I ever knew…Her brother, John Romasco, sang with Charlie Barnett’s big band in the 40’s under the name Jack Whiting.

3.My grandmother, Nina Romasco, was the second funniest person I ever met…She was the #1 best cook on the planet…She did the tarantella at all the family weddings by herself even at age 80…She also sang at any event and lived with us…

4. My brother Lee Rendell has a master’s Degree from B.U in Phys. Ed…. He had a undergraduate degree in teaching but decided it was not for him. He was a real estate broker for most of his life…He was captain of his high school football, basketball and baseball teams..He also was captain of his football team in college.

5. I currently write for 4 fitness magazines…I was voted best writer of training and nutrition articles for 3 years… I was captain of track and gymnastic in high school… I went to Bridgewater State College because my brother was there…I soon found out it wasn’t for me…My father told me in 1961 that computers were the way to go, so I went to a Computer Business School in Boston and worked with them as early as 1962… I owned and operated the third health club in Massachusetts (President City health Club in Quincy, MA. in 1964)and the second health club in Hyannis, Cape Cod, Preston’s Health Spa opened in 1977….

I am an enthusiastic reader of health books and boxing biographies…I have read 2,000 boxing biographies and likely more…From John L. Sullivan to the present…Currently reading “Ten and Out” written in 1927 by Alexander Johnston..I’d like to think I’m somewhat of a boxing historian… In the family tradition I have sung and played the guitar for most of my life..
