• PrisonFit is a collection of fitness and nutrition products and publications designed by prisoners for prisoners and parolees…and anyone wanting to improve their health.
• PrisonFit also conducts in-prison programming targeted at improving employment prospects and reducing recidivism.
• Its main program is Introduction to Small Business, which has graduated more than 505 in-prison students, is expanding statewide in 2025, and has produced a 2-year released graduate recidivism rate of 6.7%.
• PrisonFit is conducting a Kickstarter campaign during the month of January, 2025, to offer the public various fitness publications and products, and the proceeds will be used to complete and launch those publications/products and provide resources for its statewide in-prison Introduction to Small Business course.
