it’s truly a beautiful book of poetry & prose saluting the city of Los
Angeles (dedicated to every nook, corner & cranny of L.A. and its homeless alleyways and hinterlands)… this is the author’s 26th book…he is an actor as well, a veteran comedian and Poet Laureate of North Hollywood, Calif….he’s done so much in the past decade in the world of art & literature after being a homeless person (see below) …you can ask him anything what it’s like to be homeless anywhere
he was born in Austria…his parents were from Czechoslovakia…he is a graduate of Tulane University…his father was a resistance fighter in WW II (ask him about this)
when he came to Los Angeles 10 years ago from NYC, he was penniless, broke, not knowing anyone…in fact, he lived on Skid Row for a while, homeless…but he loved writing and politics…one book after another developed…he is in Chicago this week to get re to be featured at the city’s big BEA (Book Expo America) Convention at McCormick Place Center
