Are there many gemologists in the U.S. and around the world?

How did you first get started in the jewelry business? Were you interested
in other fields and professsions?

When you were a student at New York University as a young man were you
thinking of perhaps becoming a doctor or attorney?

How did you react to your first experience in the jewelry business?

What prompted you to leave New York for California and San Diego, in particular?

How competitive is the jewelry business around the rest of the world, like Europe,

What fascinated you most about the jewelry business at the start?

Here we are in the month of February…because of Valentine’s Day, is this month a very
big one for the jewelry business? What about June?–is it also a very a big month because of the

What tips can you give us when we are shopping for diamonds and jewelry?
