About the book, You Are Who You Eat, The Revolutionary New Cannibal Diet
Since Jiggy (James Lowe) Jaguar’s first interview with author Ina Silvert Hillebrandt in April, You
Are Who You Eat’s been making headway with a whole bunch of people. World renowned
writer/philosopher Ashleigh Brilliant and syndicated cartoonist, author, philanthropist Leigh
Rubin of rubescartoons wrote great reviews. A bunch of students at UCLA said things like, “I
love it! I think we should eat all the grumpy people…” A racing car expert said, “This is not
something you see every day. A naked lady and a diet for her…it’s funny!” And others
interviewed live and reviewing the book online have weighed in. You Are Who You Eat’s the
Cannibal Diet people are taking seriously! While laughing.
“I think this would really help my menopausal friends. Everything starts to slip when you get
older. And laughing helps you stay on a diet, too,” grinned a 60ish woman just before her
workout at the gym. On the other hand, a student at UCLA said, “Everybody takes dieting so
seriously. It’s refreshing to just laugh about it.”
So You Are Who You Eat’s the ideal – if tongue-in-cheek – weight loss guide for anyone,
cannibal and civilian alike, who has trouble stopping after that first bite. And for people who
enjoy cartoons and satire.
Publisher Pawpress is proud to note that in October, 2016, author Ina Silvert Hillebrandt was
awarded the coveted IRWIN Award for Most Provocative Book of the Year. And in February
2016, You Are Who You Eat was added to the collection of The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library &
Museum at Ohio State University, where a number of original cartoons featuring Dedini’s
signature luscious women and lascivious men, along with other art, are housed. Dedini and his
art were honored at a special exhibit at the Billy Ireland from February – May this year.
