About Victoria Gaskin:
Victoria’s younger self was uncertain of who she was and and lacked clear direction. While lost in the midst of a crowded world, she found herself a teenage mother at 16, dealing with bouts of depression and struggling with low self-esteem. Little did she know, she was among many others seeking to answer the very same question.
It wouldn’t be until she surrendered her life over to Jesus Christ, in 2007, that she would begin to peel back the layers revealing her authentic self. Today, she can confidently acknowledge who she is, because she is secure in who God declares her to be through His word.
Victoria Gaskin is a native of Savannah, GA by way of Brigantine, NJ. She is a dedicated military wife and mother of three. She is a lover and follower of Christ, a student of God’s word, and as a servant to His people. She is an exceptional encourager, prolific teacher, fervent prayer warrior, and exemplary mentor. She is knowledgeable, and possesses a wealth of tried and true wisdom. Her words are seasoned and exude the love and light of Christ.
Victoria possess many gifts and talents, to include writing, teaching, motivational and inspirational speaking, and all things crafty and creative. She has served in various auxiliaries within her local assemblies, and has been a leader in different capacities, to include Youth & Summer Program Director as well as a Sunday School Teacher.
Victoria has experienced great loss and has overcome many obstacles. One thing remains constant- her faithfulness to God. It took seven years, but the Lord birthed her newly released book – It’s My Destiny: Holding Fast in the Midst of Transition. She is now on a mission to share the good news of being PLANTED – Purposely Located At the Next Transitional Entryway to Destiny.
Victoria can assertively say, “It is not where you start, but how you finish!” Her life is truly a testament of the faithful assurance in Philippians 1:6 (NKJV), “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the end”.
