The Nobel Peace Prize is both coveted and respected the world over. But its well-intended
history has demonstrated that the best are often overlooked for the bungling. It has been
recently suggested, among much clamor, that the award be given to President Trump. It was
given , among much confusion , to President Obama. And perhaps the most controversial, to
terrorist Yassir Arafat.
Author and historian Allan Path is here this week to bring us some facts about this famous, yet
little known patch of history.

About Allan K. Patch:
Retired USN Captain Allan Patch grew up in Plymouth, Mass with a family history that
precedes the Revolution; leading to his fascination with the heritage of our nation.
Adding sciences to his interest in history, Allan earned a BS in biology from Boston
College and a DMD from Tufts University. He then spent over two decades in the Navy,
deployed with the Marine Corps, and served in the Naval Reserve.
Dr. Patch expanded his interests to Greek and Roman history; which provided fertile
ground for his fiction writing. He is a board member of the Friends of Classics at San
Diego State University.
Passage At Delphi is the first novel in a series exploring the confluence of the past,
