Kate De Ponte has worked in the beauty industry for over a decade. She began as a sales associate for a top beauty brand and has since held marketing and public relations positions for some of the world’s most recognizable beauty brands. Whether she was backstage in the trenches of New York Fashion Week with industry icons to working with global Research & Development teams on launching game-changing innovations, Kate’s insider knowledge led her to become a beauty expert.
In her current role as an on-air beauty expert, Kate travels the country sharing her tips and tricks on top-rated television shows. She is a regular guest on national programs such as QVC, Entertainment Tonight, and Inside Edition. From sharing overnight beauty tips on CBS Los Angeles to helping Chicago moms find the best double-duty cosmetic products on a budget, it’s all in a week’s work for Kate!
Kate’s passion lies in helping women feel more confident – using beauty as a tool – and has an ability to deliver brand messaging in a concise, easy to digest manner. With her background in beauty PR and her current role as on-air talent, she understands the subtleties of brand messaging while also understanding the importance of maintaining an engaging, high-energy presence on-camera. Kate is a regular contributor for regional programs including Good Day Sacramento, CBS Los Angeles, CBS Chicago, Arizona Midday, Better Kansas City, Real Milwaukee, Let’s Talk Live Washington DC, among other programs.
