From December 3rd through December 10th, popular children’s book author and former Senior Policy Advisor to the U.S. Department of Education Karen Gross will be auctioning off an extensive collection of giraffe sculpture and other items to benefit giraffes. A portion of the proceeds from Lady Lucy’s Laugh Giraffe Auction will be donated to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, who co-sponsored Karen’s latest book Lady Lucy’s Laugh Giraffe Journey, to assist them in their efforts to prevent giraffe extinction. The rest will be used to buy giraffe books for kids and libraries in need. The giraffe sculptures will also arrive in time for the holidays!
