BIO The Weekenders play uncompromising, in-your-face rock n’ roll. Fans and critics have compared their blues-rock hybrid sound to The Black Keys, The White Stripes and Led Zeppelin. Raised on classic rock and Motown, but seduced by the crunch of grunge, The Weekenders embrace the dangerous and dirty side of rock. With Rob Reinfurt on guitar and lead vocals, Bob Melanson on bass, Mike Sasich at the guitar and John Murphy holding down the drums, The Weekenders are a rhythm powered rock force. The Weekenders fuzz-laden riffs form the foundation for Reinfurt’s introspective and gritty lyrics. With solid musical roots, powerful hooks and vulnerable lyrics, The Weekenders are not to be missed.
