Supreme Court blocks DOJ from charging January 6th’ers with obstruction

“The US Supreme Court delivered a significant ruling today that has the potential for drastically changing the handling of January 6th’ers….
The FBI Director under oath has told members of Congress repeatedly that the January 6th “Insurrection” has been one of the Bureau’s biggest cases with the potential of thousands of defendants as it took a decades old law specifically designed for the Enron scandals of the early 1980’s to charge protestors at the time who were entering the building and destroying records and property related to the meetings being held with the new crime….”obstructing an official meeting and proceeding”
The DOJ and FBI used the statue passed and implemented for a specific incident and stretched it to target anyone who entered the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021.
The US Supreme Court however has just ruled ….not so fast.. for the statue to even be consider to be used in the January 6th proceedings would have records destroyed so as to cause a meeting and conducting of business to not be able to occur…..not just making the meeting participants to feel uncomfortable and seek to meet at a location where the public cannot observe their debate and vote. ( Even though the matter being debated and voted upon was public business…ratifying the electoral college delegates and the public had every constitutional right to observe in the “People’s House” the conducting of the people’s business.
So what does this decision mean, and how does it affect everyday Americans lives?
QUESTIONS TO ASK MICHAEL LETTS:
1.) Remind our listeners what occurred on January 6th, and why are so many people being charged from that day.
2.) Why do you believe the DOJ would use a decades old specific statue and broaden it’s interpretation to charge so many people?
3.) What concerns should the American people have with the actions on the DOJ, FBI, and any other participating federal agencies?
4.) How does this affect the many charged, convicted, and serving time in our federal prison system?
5.) How does this ruling affect our law enforcement agencies and officers nationwide?
6.) Tell us more about InVestUSA and its involvement with our First Responder’s
7.) How can we learn more about our First Responders and InVestUSA’s mission to support them. “
ABOUT: INVESTUSA is dedicated to “protecting those who protect us”.
This mission has expanded and evolved over the years to not only ensuring that every first responder has the necessary protective gear to enable them to come home safely to their families after putting themselves in harms way to protect our freedom, liberties, and values that keep our communities as safe havens and beacons of hope, but to serve as a voice for these American Hero’s.
That voice ranges from telling their sacrifices to ensure our protection, to their needs for judicial reform to protect us all, their equipment updates and needs to enable better job performance, the history of their struggles and success, and the need to provide greater care for the affects of the job…..PTSD and the consequences they suffer.
