Bud Watts was raised amid laughter. His Mom always brought home raunchy bingo jokes. Then
there were the jokes from the tongue tied drunks at the Friday night smelt frys, the roaring
family flatulence contests when Gramps always emptied the room, the amazing lies of Uncle
Rudge, and watching Dad kick the old card table across the room when Mom hollered “black
Jack!” If a day went by without laughter it was because Bud had the mumps or whooping cough.
Now he strives to give the reader one of life’s greatest pleasures: laughter. Football Abolished:
