About Dr. Abdel Jaleel Nuriddin
Dr. Abdel Nuriddin was born in Buffalo, New York on June 13, 1946. His father was not in the household
and his mother was poor. He, along with 3 brothers and 3 sisters, ate whatever was put on the table.
Neither mother nor father had any background in health or nutrition. In 1972, when his life was without
guidance, he joined the Nation of Islam under the leadership and guidance of the Honorable Elijah
Muhammad where he met his wife, Connie. Married for 49 years, they have three children. Practicing the
tenants of the Nation of Islam is where he started to learn about health, developing better eating habits.
Since the early seventies, Abdel has had an insatiable desire to see people awake to their ultimate human
potential and experience excellent health. He shares his time with people throughout the globe teaching
and coaching on holistic health and creating protocols for his client base. Abdel believes that America is a
great place to live and would love to see more Americans healthy, happy, prosperous, and rich.
Dr. Nuriddin received his BA and MA in Nutrition from the American Holistic College of Nutrition in
Birmingham, Alabama. In addition, Dr. Nuriddin holds a PhD in Holistic Nutrition from the American
Holistic College of Nutrition. His Doctorate Degree in Naturopathy is from the Clayton School of Natural
Healing, also in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr Nuriddin has studied with Dr. Bill Horosh, Dr. E. C. Watkins,
Mr. Michael Coyle, Dr. David Pesek and Mr. John Andrews, Master Herbalist and Iridologist of the
United Kingdom. He is a Diplomat of Holistic Iridology awarded by The International Institute of
Iridology.
Dr. Nuriddin lives in Greensboro, North Carolina where he owns and operates Genesis Health & Nutrition
Center, LLC with his wife Connie. Dr. Nuriddin has been a columnist for the International newspaper
MUSLIM JOURNAL for over 30 years. Dr. Nuriddin is a sought-after speaker in Mosques, Churches,
and on College and University campuses throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He holds many
awards and citations for community work and continues to write a weekly column on health today. He is
the Executive Producer and Host of a live call-in weekly TV program. This program is produced on Cable
8 TV and viewed each Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the city of Greensboro, North Carolina. The live stream
